THE PEOPLE & THE SMALL PRINT

A little credit.
A little clarity.

Anti Key List is an open-source character-set proposal from WhyTrashEarth. It explores how leaving out some look-alike characters might make short codes easier to read and retype. It is a design experiment, not a universal standard or a claim of tested accessibility outcomes.

Annie Key, illustrated by Nano

The blonde character with heart-shaped glasses is Annie Key. Her artwork was created by Nano (@Mainlian) and supplied by the project owner for this site. The original illustration is preserved. Thank you, Nano, for giving Annie so much personality.

The original inspiration

The repository dedicates the project to Aviituber (Avii) and credits her passion for design and accessibility. That dedication remains part of the project.

Your samples stay in your browser

The playground runs locally in your browser. It does not send typed samples or generated codes to a server, and does not save them in cookies or local storage. Copy buttons write to your clipboard only when you press them.

The site includes no analytics, advertising scripts, remote font requests or social embeds. The hosting provider can still receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address, when serving a page. Links to GitHub, VGen, Twitch and Braille Institute take you to those services, which have their own privacy practices.

Reusing the project

The project’s code and character-set proposal are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0. This does not assign that license to third-party artwork or fonts. Annie’s illustration is credited to Nano; no additional artwork reuse permission is asserted here.
